PHF-Tau Alzheimer biomarkers
One of the key hallmarks to Alzheimer’s disease is the formation of neurofibrillary tangles. These are aggregates of hyperphosphorylated Tau protein, also referred to as paired helical filaments (PHF-Tau).
The AT8, AT100, AT180 and AT270 monoclonal antibodies can be used for the development of (immuno)assays for specific determination of different phosphorylation sites of Tau protein.
